Blind Faith – Seattle Center Coliseum, August 8, 1969 Original Concert Poster (18" x 24")
Seattle, WA – Featuring Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker & Rick Grech
Restoration by Chameleon | Includes Certificate of Authenticity from Heritage Auctions
Original first-printing cardboard window card for Blind Faith’s historic appearance at the Seattle Center Coliseum on August 8, 1969. This was part of the band’s only U.S. tour—and one of the few promotional materials produced during their brief run. Because the group formed, recorded, and toured in rapid succession, the poster prominently lists all four members: Eric Clapton (Cream), Steve Winwood (Traffic), Ginger Baker (Cream), and Rick Grech (Family).
Support came from Delaney & Bonnie & Friends (featuring Clapton regularly) and Taste, the power trio led by Rory Gallagher.
Size: 18" x 24"
Condition (Restored Very Good):
Described by Heritage Auctions as “a surface-crease affair,” with numerous creases from top to bottom. These were professionally restored by Chameleon Restoration, with careful attention to maintain color integrity. All red, blue, and black areas remain vibrant and unbroken to the eye.
Back side features “Save for Jo Jo Bowling” handwritten in pen.
Provenance:
Purchased through Heritage Auctions. Includes Certificate of Authenticity.
A true gem from the short-lived supergroup that defined a moment in rock history. Very few original Blind Faith posters survive—especially from this iconic Pacific Northwest date.
