GRADING

SEALED:

Jacket sealed shut in shrink wrap; disc sold ungraded or "as is."

NM (NEAR MINT):

Appears unplayed and bears no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. This grade is seldom used.

VG++ (VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS):

May have one or two visible imperfections (e.g., sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS):

A few visible imperfections, which may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.

VG (VERY GOOD):

Similar imperfections as VG+, but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

VG- (VERY GOOD MINUS):

A number of visible imperfections, including a considerable number of light scratches. Significant isolated defects, such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail, will result in a VG- grade.

G (GOOD):

Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees, including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range
